Welcome to Chamber Music Festival of Saugatuck

Dear Chamber Music Festival of Saugatuck family:

The Executive Committee of the CMFS Board wants you to know that we have been monitoring the COVID-19 situation closely and after much analysis have decided to make the heartbreaking decision to cancel our 2020 summer festival.
We are hopeful that we can replicate the exciting plans for 2020 in the summer of 2021 pending the musicians’ willingness and availability. We the CMFS Executive Committee will continue to comply with the COVID-19 guidelines from federal, state and local authorities and believe our focus must be the safety of you our patrons, our musicians, student musicians, volunteers, staff, our board and advisory council members.
Cancelling the season does not mean that the organization’s work has stopped. We have already had expenses to plan the season, obtain the music, meet advertising deadlines well in advance of the season, mailings for the ticket orders and donations, our 2020 student artwork contest winner award, our contractual obligations, and other expenses to prepare for the annual festival.
Per the March 20, 2020 letter that was sent to you via both email and the USPS we intend to handle your ticket orders, payments and donations with your best interest in mind and have the following options for your consideration:
Ticket order handling
If you have already sent a check to purchase tickets, our Ticket Sales Co-Directors will be calling you to see how you would like us to handle your check. We will shred your check, return your check, or process your check as a donation to CMFS if you desire.
If you have already sent a donation for the 2020 CMFS series, we Thank You for your support! Thank You for your annual gifts which are the foundation of the health of our organization and allow us to continue the excellent series you enjoy. As detailed above, we still have significant expenses behind the scenes even when the show doesn’t go on, so we welcome your continued support this year. All 2020 gifts including value of turned-in tickets will be recognized as 2020 tax-deductible donations in the 2021 concert program.
If you have sent in your volunteer form Thank You! As we continue to plan for the next season, the Volunteer Co-Directors will be contacting you and they will keep in touch as needed.
Please continue to stay connected with our organization via the website and Facebook page. Thank you in advance for your continuing support of chamber music, keeping it vibrant and alive!
We the CMFS Executive Committee will keep you apprised of the plans for our next season and look forward to seeing you soon and once again enjoy “Art for your Ears” together.
With warmest regards for you and yours,
Lynette C. Fall

At Chamber Music Festival of Saugatuck we happily present “Art For Your Ears”. During our regular season we offer both traditional and contemporary chamber music performed by the area’s finest musicians, as well as special guest artists.  To see what’s coming up go to our events area where you will find a calendar of upcoming events. Also, please take special note of the Joan Conway Young Artists Program. For the perpetuation of this program a special endowment has been created. To learn more about this valuable program for young artists please visit the young artists page within the artists area of the site.
