Stacy Tanner

Stacy Bosman Tanner · Cello

Stacey Bosman Tanner is a graduate of Interlochen Arts Academy, The University of Michigan, and Boston Conservatory. Her principal teachers include Ross Harbaugh, Jeffrey Solow, and Andres Diaz. Her cello studies began with Susan Formsma and Dr. Robert Ritsema. Ms. Tanner previously served as Principal Cello of Orquesta de San Luis in Argentina and also as a member of the Midland- Odessa Symphony in Texas. Currently she is the cellist of the Perugino String Quartet in residence at Grand Valley State University. With the Perugino Quartet, she performed at Lincoln Center at the Juilliard Quartet Seminar. In addition, she teaches cello at Calvin College and is a frequent performer with the Grand Rapids Symphony. Recent summers have been spent in the Upper Peninsula performing with the Pine Mountain Music Festival. Stacey Tanner is married to violinist Eric Tanner, and they live in East Grand Rapids with their daughters Elizabeth and Charlotte.
